Private Beta 2 Live
We have just released eBagle beta 2.0. Hope you like it! With this release, we have moved the operation from our offices to the co-lo facility and made it ready for real volume. We’ve added more tagging features (including importing Del.icio.us tags), improved the login process, enabled invitations, and updated the concepts with a fresh injection from Wikipedia and a manual editing of the top 5000 query terms.
We added a feature we call “aspects”. These are sub-concepts that give specific kinds of information for a concept, such as albums for a music artist (check out: www.ebagle.com/u2 for an example.) There are pre-defined aspects, such as .books, .brands, .image, .news, .map, and users can create new ones.
We’ve invited about 60 more people to try this beta, and given the existing beta users the chance to invite up to 5 friends. Give us your feedback.
Now it’s on to beta 3. We’ve got lots of new features in the works, and hope we can get the best ones in for this release.
